We realize some situations in life that seems so stubborn to deal with even when we've prayed severally about them, most people give up with the conviction that God is silent or He won't do anything about it or we tend to leave them in God's hands even when we are drowning in doubts deep down our heart not realizing that there some situations we bring to God that needs all of our attention, time, sacrifice, consistency and perseverance. If you want to get immediate results/answers to your prayers, seek the one who gives the answer not the answer itself.
KEYS TO MOUNTAIN MOVING PRAYER:
1.Recognizing the presence of God: Wait till the Lord draws you into His presence,we recognize His presence when He draws us into it by spending quality time with Him alone, don't rush in and out on God like He's a fellow human. Put all things aside and get rid of any distractions( phones, children, noise etc) calm your mind and focus on only one person,JESUS.
2.Worship: worship a way of focusing our mind on God,magnifying Him for who He is and nothing activates the presence of God like worship. Begin every prayer with worship, never utter a word to our Father without proper worship.
3.Pray according to His will:To know God's perfect will demands a relationship with Him, there is no way you can understand His will without knowing Him. We desperately want God to answer our selfish desire even when it's not suitable for us then we end up with a permissive will and wonder why it came with so many uncomfortable circumstances, psalms 106:15 "so He gave them what they asked for,but also sent a terrible disease among them". Search out the scripture about your desire to confirm if its God's perfect will for His children, there may not be a specific scripture about it but it sure can be related to a situation/story in the bible. Like I mentioned earlier relationship with God is the key,if your relationship with God is not strong you will not understand His will.
4.Faith: This kind of faith comes alive in the place of prayer not by what you decide on your mind but as you wait for the Holy spirit to quicken you,He impacts faith in your heart while you wait upon Him in prayer.
5.Prayer must be daily: If you miss a day,you will harm your progress in prayer, daily contact with God is the secret to victory,Luke 11:3 " give us this day our daily bread " ,its a daily walk.Revelation 8:3 talks about our prayers stored up in heaven to be used at the proper moment (that's more than one hour prayer per day),we gradually develop and grow into this daily practice.
6.Authority in the name of Jesus: John 14:13-14 "And I will do whatever you ask for in my name,so that the father's glory will be shown through the son.14.If you ask me for anything I will do it", Jesus has given us His name,His authority, when we use His name in prayer it's as though He is talking on our behalf, God cannot hear our prayers unless we come properly through His son Jesus, that's where the power is. It's so amazing to be given so much privilege that the prophets of the old testament never had.
Xoxo,Jesus still saves.
